The Marketing department here at BD has been split into two main areas – Strategic Marketing and Marketing. Within these are many different teams, all working together to grow our business and better our position within the market – from Digital Marketing and Customer Insights to Health Economics and Outcomes Research.
The main objective of having a Strategic Marketing unit is to develop our company’s strategic plan. This means developing robust strategic partnerships, identifying growth opportunities, developing cross-business unit strategies to address emerging trends, and strategically outperforming competitors. In Marketing, there’s a mix of both strategic and tactical marketing but within the scope of a specific business unit. Marketing in a business unit plays a key role in driving profitable growth while building competitive advantage and delivering value for customers and patients.
What does this mean for you?
Whether you work in Digital Marketing, supporting our strategy through the governance of electronic media environments or in Customer Insights, driving sustainable and profitable growth with fact based, data-driven insights about our customers and markets, the work you do in Marketing will affect our entire business and the way we display ourselves in the marketplace. This is your opportunity to work together with the brightest marketing minds in the industry, while being exposed to other amazing employees and intelligent thinkers.
