As a Market Development Manager MDS, LEVANT you will be responsible for leading the MDS business in Levant (achieving Sales target /Business development) i.e. sales management, distributor management and you will be reporting to MDS LENA Leader. You will be also responsible key account mapping and launching innovative solutions/technologies within the healthcare industry with managing a local distributor and a network of national sub-distributors.

This position will be based in Amman , Jordan.

Other Key Responsibilities:-

  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing business strategies, analyzing trends and results.

  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  • Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.

  • Identify growth opportunities and ensure execution of strategic plans to accelerate the growth

  • Fulfill information/data needed, critical for business growth and sustainability

  • Prospecting, assessing and prioritizing new markets / segments for business opportunities for growth.

  • Development/execution of business and operation plans in liaison with business leadership to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.

  • Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results

  • Collaborates with regional Clinical/Marketing team to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show

  • Holds regular meeting with Distributor sales staff to monitor KPIs fulfilment and progress.

  • Provide high standards of ongoing training for the medical representatives so that they possess sufficient medical and technical knowledge to present information on the company’s products in an accurate and balanced manner closely with the clinical/marketing team

  • Ensure effective and suitable means of product availability, by close monitoring the stocks and future projections of purchasing cycles.

  • Manage effectively a network of distributors/sub distributors/wholesalers across Levant and Monitoring the Distributors’ business performance against budget and to advice / undertake corrective action in liaison with leadership where necessary.

  • Manage supply chain and forecasting for assigned territory/segment, coordination with country SC team.

  • Sales analysis: ensure availability of required sales data and it’s analysis to the team to support their objectives.

  • Implement marketing plan and strategy for specific products group category. Find opportunity, develop segmentation and positioning.

  • Identifies the needed campaigns/tools for the different market segments

  • Account mapping for the different market segments and identification of business Potential

  • Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and advising on improving business relationships and creating an environment where customer service can flourish.

About You:-

  • Extensive knowledge in Levant region (Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus and Malta)

  • Extensive knowledge of managing distributor channels

  • Proven track record in managing tender business

  • Proven track record in sales Management and/or Market access

  • Ability to work efficiently in Matrix business environment

  • Flair for learning and progress in career.

  • Pleasant and socially active personality

  • Ability to handle diverse cultures and people.

  • Commercially savvy / eye for business

  • Standout colleague with excellent communication and social skills

  • Good computer and presentation skills

  • Speak/write English & Arabic
