The role is hybrid with travel every second week to Wangs, it can be based otherwise ideally in South West Germany.

We are open for this role to be either part time for at least 60% or full time

Straub Medical AG, part of BD (www.bd.com), develops, manufactures and markets high-tech medical devices for the treatment of perfusion disorders. Medical specialists worldwide use our rotational catheters to rapidly restore the patency of occluded blood vessels by a minimal-invasive approach, thus avoiding larger surgical procedures. Our technology contributes to risk-reduction for the patients and to cost-savings for the healthcare system.

Job responsibilities:

  • Supports the Plant Manager as well as the Management Team members in HR-related topics.

  • Handling of administrative work in the HR area according to defined processes and in collaboration with shared services: on- & off-boarding formalities, pension fund (de-)registrations, withholding tax notifications, work permits, accident notifications, etc.

  • Supports hiring managers with Day 1 onboarding activities of New Hire (i.e., pre-hire, paperwork, benefits enrollment in collaboration with external provider), badge, etc.

  • Strategically support the business through organization design and workforce planning

  • Be the talent advisor, facilitator, and champion to ensure strong succession pipelines for critical roles

  • Participate in / facilitate the Performance Management process

  • Facilitate talent reviews and follow through on development actions by driving accountability in client leaders supported by the HR organization

  • Partner across BD and with TM and TA to align top talent to top priorities while ensuring inclusion and diversity outcomes

  • Provide consultative guidance for compensation and facilitate appropriate compensation reviews

  • Develop / define associate separation strategy 

Qualifications / required profile:

  • Vocational training in Administration or similar with a minimum of 3 years practical working experience

  • A minimum of 2 year working experience in HR / Staff administration

  • Very good IT skills (MS Office, Outlook); experience in Workday a strong plus

  • German mother tongue with very good English skills, both in verbal and writing
