As a Field Service Engineer, reporting to the Technical Service Manager, you will be responsible to deliver technical support on the assigned BD Bioscience and BD Integrated Diagnostic instrumentation and systems within the assigned region in order to guarantee customer satisfaction through an outstanding service and efficient mastery of reported incidents and requests of the customer. You will also be responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting on complex instrumentation and may be assigned to more difficult customer situations, requiring advanced experience in customer management both within the individual assigned territory and within the region. In addition, you will also provide customer instruction on basic system operation, maintenance procedures also technical coaching and mentoring of other field engineers.
Other Key Responsibilities :-
Actively promote BD products and services
Liaise with colleagues and other departments to share information and formulate plans to resolve customer inquiries
Participate in continuous improvement programs and projects within company
Remote support, diagnostics & troubleshooting
Field corrective actions & preventive maintenance
Escalating relevant issue, instrument breakdown or customer complaint to BD (internal) or external partners (Distributors)
Service contract selling
Installation and replacement of various model Uninterruptible Power Supply's (UPS) at customer sites"
Functional administrative reporting
Opportunity detection/customer focus
Maintenance of car stock
Successfully finish the formal training as required by territory assignment.
Participate and successfully finish the required BD continuing education programs consistent for the job position.
Keep working knowledge up to date through continuous learning (instrument manuals, service bulletins..)
About You :-
Educated to a national diploma in electronics/engineering (or equivalent),
Five years’ experience in a technical service medical instrument field environment or similar.
To work autonomously, independently generating, prioritizing and completing projects.
Hold valid Driver’s License
Job Profile requires extensive traveling and to be on standby to support customers beyond the working hours and in holidays
