We are seeking a Country Business Lead in the Nordics for Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS), one of BD's largest and most strategically important businesses. In this crucial role, you will have full P&L responsibility for the business, directing a team of around 50 sales, marketing and clinical associates. The position sits at the centre of BD's matrix, and requires close collaboration with the region as well as other functions and business units.
The Country Business Lead will be responsible for identifying growth acceleration opportunities for MDS, generating the business model, finding innovation opportunities and leading pilots to successful execution.
Other responsibilities include:
Protect the Share of Category of MDS and implement effective new Go To Market models.
Define and execute the distribution strategy for the Nordics in line with the broader strategy for business
Ensure successful execution of innovative, data backed marketing strategies which deliver tangible differentiation and value creation for our products in the market
Perform and exemplify People Management and Talent Development that ensures the ongoing success of the BU.
Be an active contributor to Country/Business Strategy Formulation together with the CGM Nordics and VP/GM MDS Europe and lead strategy implementation
Maintain High-Level Customer Interfacing daily and build networks across the market including KOLs, decision makers, governmental institutions and trade associations
Build outstanding sales and marketing capabilities
A highly effective Commercial leader with P/L leadership experience, you will have in-depth knowledge of the Nordics healthcare market, preferably within medical devices and consumables and involving high value contracts and tenders. A passionate leader of people, you will be skilled at motivating, building and leading robust teams.
