With our technical capabilities, the Medication Management Solutions (MMS) team are able to manage multiple systems and our operational capabilities enable us to have medications available when and where needed, reducing inefficiency and waste for nursing and pharmacy teams.
About the role
This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of the MMS digital marketing strategy in EMEA and for building a sustainable and actionable customer database.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Planning and conducting a thorough review and analysis of all current digital infrastructure and content
- Collaborate with both the MMS marketing teams and BD Marketing Communications team (Marcom CoE) to improve customer visibility & awareness of BD MMS (lead generation), customer engagement (lead nurturing & qualification) and prospecting (lead conversion).
- Deploy a robust lead generation and handling framework, from campaign inception to qualified lead hand-over to sales to include a tracking mechanism to inform future campaigns
- Ensure the measurement, reporting and tracking of performance KPIs relating to all digital marketing campaigns
- Work closely with the MMS marketing team to interrogate customer data in order to produce key commercial insights and a practical means of segmentation and targeting of discreet customer groups.
- Work in close alignment with Commercial Excellence role for maximum impact, sales force automation, as well as alignment on ComEx 2025 goals.
- Develop and maintain expert market knowledge in terms of digital engagement.
- Support market research activities when necessary
- Travel to support region on a frequent basis – approximately 20% of time travelling in the region
About you
- Degree level educated with significant experience within a similar role and preferably within either the MedTech or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Possess personal dynamism, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with clarity and precision.
- Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritizing, and completing work
- A flexible team player, this person will use their personal influence and get things done, even without direct authority and whilst operating within a matrix organization
- Experience of achieving success through deep collaboration with internal teams and external partners/agencies.
- Experience of planning and participating in customer meetings, exhibitions, and workshops
- Demonstrated success in translating business needs into digital strategies and plans
- Must be able to deep-dive into KPIs and data analysis, but more importantly, be able to pull out the key conclusions that are used to improve each successive campaign.
- Must be well organized, able to prioritize appropriately and display good time management skills
- Strong supporter of the core BD values and desire to grow their career and capabilities within the business
- Reliable, supportive, committed, and passionate about the healthcare business
- Fluent English. Additional languages an advantage
