Job Description

As Business Leader for MDS (Medication Delivery Solutions) in Middle East, North Africa and Turkey (MENAT), you will be responsible for securing the commercial success of the Business Unit in this exciting region.

With full responsibility for P/L, you will provide direct leadership to the MDS team in the region, including dedicated sales, support associates and distributors. You will operate on a strategic level, overseeing a number of exciting transformations in this highly complex region including go-to-market changes, business model optimization and the continued move towards value based healthcare.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Live and drive the BD 2025 Vision and strategy (Grow, Simplify & Empower)

  • Instill the culture of Growth Mindset and embody the traits of Servant Leadership

  • Monitor Distributor business performance against budget while maintaining a win/win relationship

  • Drive Commercial excellence initiatives: Sales force effectiveness, segmentation, Digital and customer education

  • Lead the development and implementation of business and marketing plans, pricing policy, sales strategies, and promotional plans by platform in MENAT to meet or exceed business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain high level contacts with opinion leaders/shapers in the hospital environment to influence healthcare policies, project funding and regulatory policies.

  • Actively seek out new business/growth opportunities for MDS in MENAT based on market trends

  • Create a Sustained Value Proposition to our target customer segments

  • Ensure customer experience is driven to the highest standards based on customer expectations.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Commercial leader within the Medical Devices industry. You will have experience within global, corporate environments and have a successful track record navigating a global matrix.

Ideally you will have experience working with implantable, consumable or other commoditised healthcare products.

In addition:

  • Solid track record in sales, people, and marketing management experience with a proven successful track record.

  • Demonstratable leadership ability in managing teams with high levels of maturity and responsibility

  • Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, planning and organization skills with high execution

  • Ability to lead by influence and strong communication skills in a matrix team structure.

  • Keen customer focus with dedication to meeting and exceeding customer expectations, acting with the customer in mind, and maintaining effective customer relationships

  • Strong commercial/financial acumen

  • English and Arabic language are essential, ideally French in addition

  • Based in Dubai and willing to travel to our Dubai HQ

  • Travel up to 50%
