Medication safety and automation represent a strategic growth area for BD. BD Cato™ provides comprehensive pharmaceutical/medication safety solutions for the oncological therapy planning and cytotoxic preparation, in addition to parental nutrition. The role is responsible to deliver an adequate implementation solution design from conception to successful delivery of BD Cato software and hardware projects for hospitals and pharmacy care areas in Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMA).
This includes a detailed workflow assessment and a tailored implementation approach as per the customer current and future needs. This also involves design and delivery of BD Cato solutions based on analysis of customer clinical/operational/IT processes and centered around customer change drivers. Post-implementation technology optimization and collaboration with customers to produce collaterals to further promote adoption are also part of these responsibilities. Being built within a project management context, the role will work closely with all project stakeholders (business, marketing, service teams) to ensure smooth cooperation.
Key Responsibilities :-
Provide workflow analysis that delivers an understanding of the actual customer status versus the expected outcomes and objectives
Create/define an implementation design including training, process optimization, consultancy, and mentorship throughout the implementation until go-live
Deliver workflow training as per the implementation design
Participate in the implementation projects, comprising clinical validation processes to ensure accuracy, integration, and interfacing with IT systems
Track and measure projects in alignment with customer and management team
Act as consultant for the regional solution management teams in pre-sales and ensure smooth transition from sales to implementation
Foster knowledge transfer [product/workflows and customer experience] to new markets
Support/establish documentation standards & templates around clinical workflow documentation together with solution management teams
Assess and evaluate lessons learned, contributing to permanent improvement
Support local sales team in identifying and developing reference sites that demonstrate BD dispensing solutions effectively
Contribute to/participate in forums for the exchange of ideas, experience sharing, certified educational programs, research opportunities, and clinical seminars
Identify and nurture professional relationships with selected Key Opinion Leaders
Collaborate with customers to produce testimonials, process-transformation studies, clinical process benchmarking, medication/supply consumption trend analyses, and ‘white papers’ to further explain and promote the adoption of BD solutions
Align with the Solution Management Office, Marketing, R&D and Product Development to inform and support strategies to ensure current and future offering answers key business drivers, providing input for future development of medication and peri-operative product usage processes, methodologies and technologies that maximize the value of BD Dispensing
Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
3 - 5 years of experience in hospital pharmacy environment
Strong clinical and IT integration experience with hospital information systems
Excellent communicator. Strong networking skills. Phenomenal teammate
Proficiency in English. Arabic is a plus
Open to travel 50% of the time
