Demonstrates extensive knowledge of standard methodologies of the hospital pharmacy and detailed knowledge of BD’s pharmacy solutions, including Medication dispensing solution.
Serves as an experienced communicator and collaborator with partners (internal and external) to drive alignment on recommendations and proposed solutions.
You will be accountable for development of regional business strategy and achievement of objectives through effective implementation.
Involved in decisions or recommendations impacting sales and/or expense budget performance and are reviewed at a region and/or business unit level.
Will be responsible for handling the Dispensing Systems Platform, associated budgets such as expense budget or product line sales forecast.
Assists or leads in carrying out functional, product line plans within a region. Demonstrates influence within a work area/ team/ function. Represents the function and platform on regional leadership team.
Provides consultation as to positioning of BD products to support efficient workflow and current and anticipated clinical needs.
Interacts with KOL’s, external parties to get insights about the needs and the market
Prospect for potential clients and accounts to turn this into increased business
Contribute to financial budgeting, forecasting in close collaboration with the management and other functions
Actively participates in and often leads key projects/initiatives.
Work with EMA and international EMR/PDMS 3rd party vendors to support their effort developing connectivity with the Dispensing Platform
In the area of Healthcare IT (HIT) solutions for Intensive Care Units (ICU), oncology and operating theatres, work with EMA and Global Marketing Teams to share information and update with market data, product developments and market specific strategic and tactical plans.
Development and implementation of new product launch campaigns, aligning with market specific strategies and coordinating launch activities with all relevant partners
Conduct regular customer visits to develop awareness of the key market requirements / customer unmet needs
About You :-
Bachelor’s degree, Pharmacy degree required with IT background; MBA is a plus.
4-7 years of experience in hospital environment & 3-5 years of experience in sales and marketing in Medical Devices.
Previous Clinical/Operational/IT/pharmacy experience preferred
Management experience required, with strong track record of developing successful teams and developing and retaining successful productive individuals
Requires excellent critical thinking, problem resolution abilities and strong technical skills.
70% travel and flexible working hours are required, including nights and weekends.
Good strategic marketing skills, including proven success in launching new products
Experience in technology (IT, Medical equipment) and system integration
Experience with medication dispensing technology; experience within the healthcare and/or infusion delivery, and proven marketing experience, including ICU, oncology, operating theatres is a plus
Ability to establish strong relations with internal & external customers, and proficient in network development
Strategically works with sales and operations organizations to prioritize opportunities.
Demonstrates initiative in providing clinical mentorship for new product development, ongoing evaluation of measurements and educational tools.
Self-motivated and exhibits a positive “can-do” attitude. Demonstrates outstanding levels of personal responsibility.
