EMEA Supply Chain - Order Fulfillment Network Specialist
Job Description Summary
As Order Fulfillment Network Specialist you will support the day-to-day operations and drive continuous improvements related to processes and procedures between BD and its logistics partner as it relates to inventory management and order execution to ensure products are delivered to the right place, at the right time, in the right quantity, with the right documents.You supervise the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes and procedures regarding the logistics partners’ activities. You assess the collected data and implement improvements to address any complications or issues in the operational or management process, but you will also collect metrics from the logistics partner and perform the required tracking against target KPI’s. In addition, you initiate cycle counts according to SOX requirements.
Job Description
Your responsibilities:
Support day-to-day operations between BD and the logistics service provider
Strictly follow up inbound and outbound processes and report any non-conformities immediately
Act as the first point of contact for any logistic related issues such as but not limited to: late departure, incomplete shipments, missing documents, inventory questions
Take vital operational decisions to ensure ‘flawless deliveries’
Conduct and initiate investigations related to customer complaints
Coordinate returns from customers
Act as single liaison for ERP/EDI related issues including escalation to IT and assist the day-to-day error handling related to the logistic activities
Performance monitoring
Perform Service Level, KPI and supply chain financial performance measurement
Initiate the cycle counts needed as per SOX requirements and report on the differences through a monthly KPI
Assist during the yearly stock count (abroad)
Work on continuous Improvement by leading biweekly review meeting with the service provider, but also actively looks to continuously improve operational processes and digitalize our reporting and analysis processes
Your profile:
You have a Bachelor or Master' degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain related and/or operational function. You are eager to learn: you love to analyze, improve and investigate. Others would describe you as someone with outstanding interpersonal skills and team spirit. You are digital savvy and can balance multiple topics simultaneously, you are phenomenal at keeping a helicopter overview. Lastly, your attitude is customer focused, and you love a good challenge!
