European Scientific & Training Support Specialist (FR/ENG)

To strengthen the BD Biosciences team in Erembodegem - Belgium, we are currently looking for a:
European Scientific & Training Support Specialist BD Biosciences - French & English
In this role, you are a member of the European Training & Scientific Support organization, an international team of specialists with strong scientific background, dedicated to support scientists and clinicians in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region on BDB products and applications, with focus on flow cytometry, immunology and multiomics. You will report to the European Scientific Support team leader.
Remote application and reagent support: You provide high quality scientific support to our EMEA customers and internal colleagues (Application Specialists, Field Service Engineers and Sales Representatives, Marketing) on products, devices, applications, and software from the entire BD Biosciences portfolio (flow cytometry, clinical laboratory diagnostics, multiomics, basic and drug research in life sciences) via e-mail, phone, and chat:
Timely answer pre-sales and post-sales reagents, applications, instrument, and software questions.
Advise on experimental set-up and data analysis.
Perform flow cytometry panel design.
Troubleshoot flow cytometry application issues.
Maintain a high level of expertise in reagents and applications.
Develop and maintain technical content.
Collect and maintain customer data and documentation of customer interactions in the corresponding CRM systems and databases.
Contribute to simplify and improve system & business processes for growing efficiency and customer happiness.
Contribute to build and maintain training content for flow cytometry instrument and application trainings.
Conduct or contribute to training courses to customers.
Occasionally travel to provide support at scientific congresses or internal workshops; deliver support and/or presentations to customers and/or colleagues.
Contribute to European or global support projects.
Support marketing and sales: assist in new product launches and marketing activities.
You have a Master degree in Biological or Medical sciences or an equivalent life sciences related area combined with several years of proven experience in immunology and flow cytometry - experience in multiomics or genomics applications is a plus. In addition, you have practical laboratory experience in the use of flow cytometry. You are able to design, perform, and analyze a multiparameter flow cytometry experiment, including setting up accurate controls and adjusting instrument settings. Sophisticated scientific and technical issues have no secrets for you and above that you have experience in crafting educational content, maybe even with digital learning technologies?
You are proficient in French and English and your computer skills are not that bad either!
