About the role
As a Sterilization Engineer, reporting to our Sterilization Supervisor, you’ll be responsible of supporting the Sterilization department in project development and management tasks and implementation of continuous improvement, in compliance to the Sterilization, Regulatory and Corporation requirements. The key Sterilization Engineer responsibilities include:
- Supervise and lead projects to improve and optimize our processes.
- Analyze work practices, keeping procedures updated and ensuring follow safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance and Quality departments in the management of their activities in the Sterilization area.
- Manage Continuous Improvement tools in the work area.
Educated to degree level in Engineering, preferably specialized on Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical or similar, you’ll have engineering track record in Sterilization processes, Continuous Improvement and Projects management within a high-volume manufacturing environment and advanced level of English. With a clear understanding of work practices, with clear and accurate documentation, analytical and communication skills, and the ability to prioritize. Other attributes include:
- Minimum English level B2.
- Desirable experience in Six Sigma methodologies.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and regulatory requirements for the sterilization of health-care products.
- Desirable skills in analysis and fault detection.
- Proactive person, with Initiative with organizational skills and able to work with multidisciplinary teams.
