Job Description Summary

As BDB EMA Commercial excellence Specialist you will support the Africa, Middle East and CIS BDB organization in commercial decision making, strategy development, and implementation of EMA wide sales, pricing and marketing activities. Analysis and interpretation of data to reveal market changes, effectiveness of product launches and life cycle, pricing and business analytics, CRM analytics (Sales Force.com), and to identify and interpret competitive activities.

The role will:
-Support price governance and other pricing initiatives.
-Participate in account segmentation activities, targeting projects, territory planning activities, strategic planning, etc.
-Work closely with the EMA marketing teams, country organizations, with the different Centers of Excellence across the BDB EMEA organization and occasionally with global teams.
-Contribute with BU data analytics, BU specific business requirements, lead projects and support implementations in the relevant areas within the BU.

About the Role

  • Develop substantial reports and dashboards to supervise success of commercial, marketing and pricing initiatives.
  • Provide marketing, pricing and CRM analytics to BDB EMA
  • Coordinate price blocking issues and approvals within the BDB EMA organization
  • Support the marketing teams with market trends and overall business performance analysis.
  • Provide support and input to the Annual Strategic Review and Planning process.
  • Participate to the development of commercial strategies in the region, assess different Channel and GTM models.
  • Lead analysis of tender management data across the region to formulate trends and performance.
  • Support new programs and tools to bridge pricing, sales and marketing management to deliver tactical and strategic goals

About you

  • Excellent digital literacy, especially Microsoft Excel with VBA programming skills of advantage.
  • Knowledge of Sales Force CRM, willing to extend knowledge with Power BI and Vendavo systems
  • Educated to degree level with min. proven experience in an analyst role or in a commercial excellence working environment
  • Health care industry specific experience an advantage.
  • Logical lateral problem solver, self-starter, quick learner.
  • Project management skills: ability to independently manage and co-ordinate multiple projects across the region and with multiple contributors from several BDB functions
  • Must enjoy working to deadlines and have a genuine interest in all aspects of business
  • Balanced individual who can prioritize optimally and meet deadlines calmly.
  • Ability to integrate day to day work and long-term work across priorities.
  • Great teammate who is also able to operate independently and without close supervision
  • Strong communicator of data-based information.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Culturally flexible and confident to perform in a highly diverse environment.
