About the role
Reporting to the Country General Manager, the Director, Strategic Account Management is responsible for developing and implementing key elements of the Commercial Excellence 2025 strategy to deliver value-based solutions predominantly to the acute care sector, with a focus on selected target accounts. Engaging with C-Suite level customers responsible for owning the over-arching organisational improvements in outcomes and efficiency, you elevate the relationship from transactional to strategic partner. You lead the process for customer needs identification and then work with BU leaders and their teams to co-ordinate the design and agree on solutions which meet or exceed customer expectations. Accountability for revenue and return on investment is also part of the role.
Other key responsibilities include:
Reviewing, identifying and agreeing on targets for strategic account development
Strengthening the network of key public and private acute care and laboratory influencers nationally and align responsibilities with BD Director of Public Policy
Leading C-Suite and other senior client engagement via the Strategic Account Management team (total team of 10, including 7 Strategic Account Managers)
Adopting and delivering ‘live’ projects in strategic accounts
Initiate new strategic partnership projects in target accounts and in collaboration with business units teams, determine solutions which best meet customer needs
Guide Business Units in the development of solutions and value-propositions to meet customers’ strategic organisational needs
Active communication and engagement with the French leadership team on strategic account development
We are looking for candidates with a good knowledge of the French Healthcare market in general, preferably from different roles and with different industry players where you worked with the French health authorities. You should demonstrate an Executive presence and C-Suite communications skills and experience.
Strong in your strategic agility, you have defined and implemented value-based partnerships. You have showcased your ability to collaborate, engage and influence at all levels in the organisation.
