Senior Project Manager / Responsable de projet EMEA

Job Description Summary

Working on an EMEA scope for all BD entities the Program Manager will be responsible to provide quality business support to major programs in EMEA, program management and supporting and managing process improvements.

You will be supporting major programs in EMEA and manage with SME’s the applicable Quality / Compliance workstreams. Example of current major programs are EU-MDR or internal business process tools implementation.

You will be working as a member of the Quality EMEA team and reporting to the Continuous Improvement Senior Manager.

Job Description

In this role you will contribute to the project roadmap in order to ensure the Quality organization reach the functional Key Driver Goals to success and move a step forward the Inspire Quality program objective. This will include, process analysis, process design and process improvement activities through Lean 6sigma approach and beyond.

You will need to create a strong collaboration and partnership with the different stakeholders in the EMEA organizations to bring added value by putting in place a solid support, mindset and partnership.

You will be also a key partner of the overall Quality EMEA organization to enhance process efficiency by the deployment of Project Management methodologies, coaching and connecting the dots within the Quality department and with key departments in EMEA and globally.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing Quality / Compliance work streams in the major programs in EMEA.
  • Lead an end-to-end characterization of defined processes, quantifying specific gaps and issues.
  • Support Key company programs as being the Quality EMEA representative and partner
  • Drive the deployment of Lean, CI, and related tools and methodologies throughout your area of responsibility.
  • Foster an environment for best practice sharing across all locations and Staff associates.
  • Support KPI definition and monthly Metrics capture.
  • Support and influence similar projects across the organization (Quality), providing CI expertise with coaching and mentorship.
  • Complies with all local and regional quality regulations and compliance when appropriate and with all business policies and procedures.
  • Lead change across a multi-cultural sphere and change through influence, earns credibility, and executes on results.
  • Challenge the status quo in a manner that supports sustainable positive actions and outcomes.
  • Create passion and excitement across the broader organization about doing the right things and continuous improvement.
  • Be hands on when needed, "go & see mentality" at point of change (available, active, committed).

Who are you?

Coming from an Engineering or Master background in Quality, Compliance or any other related matter you have a minimum of 10 years experience in managing global/large scope projects in a industrial and international environment. An experience within a regulated environment and medical device/pharmaceutical environment would be a plus.

Essential skills:

  • Good knowledge of Quality and applicable standards and regulations, like EU-MDR/IVDR and ISO 13485.
  • Experience in Quality, with a preference for Quality of Go To Market / Commercial Organizations
  • Strong knowledge around Lean 6Sigma (Green belt or Black belt would be a must)
  • Continuous Improvement (CI) best practices and methodologies
  • An excellent oral and written communication skills, including a strong soft skill set to work in a matrix environment, influence skill, diverse environment adaptation, stakeholders management.
  • Ability to work independently and influence, with and without direct authority, associates, staff associates, site management, and senior business management.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects with geographically diverse teams.
  • Experience with Lean Deployment, developing standard processes, writing procedures, mentoring / coaching deployment / implementation
  • Strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a track record of problem resolution
  • Knowledge of data management and reporting tools/systems.
