Software Test Engineering Manager

The position
The Software Test Engineering Manager in BD RCI manages software quality engineer resources working in multiple business units on a range of medical diagnostic devices (clinical and research), medical management systems and medical interventional. Current team size is 25 and continues to grow. They cover:
Manual test with simulators
On-instrument manual test
Automated test
Subsystem verification
Firmware test
Responsibilities include:
People management – recruiting and development
Budgeting and resource allocation
Relationship management with counter parts in the business units
Support the business units in test process improvement and use of tools
Ensure quality of work delivered and adherence to standards
Support teams in process, estimation, problem solving, test best practices
You should have
BSc in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent
Minimum of 15 years of software testing and test management experience
Experience with complete product development life cycle from concept to final release
Experience working in agile scrum, test automation, continuous integration and delivery
Strong organizational skills working with cross-functional teams
Strong writing and verbal communications skills are essential.
Strong focus on product quality
Nice to Have
Familiarity with FDA regulations for medical instruments, ISO 14971, IEC 62304 standards
