As a Supply Chain Planner Analyst, you report to the Supply Chain Manager. You are primarily responsible for all demand, supply, inventory, and SC project planning activities related to your respective product/geographic portfolio. You work closely with Customer Operations to ensure that customer requirement for product and information are met on a timely basis. You will coordinate all demand planning activities directly with Marketing and Sales, and establish a robust supply plan with BDs suppliers and/or manufacturing facilities.

As a Supply Chain Planner Analyst you will provide input for the SIOP process for a given business segment in order to align market and financial requirements with supply capabilities.

Point of Contact for the Marketing/Sales and Customer Service

  • Lead joint demand planning activities for the product portfolio and for identified customers or geographies. You will do this by developing and maintaining an integrated/collaborative demand planning process

  • Work with Marketing and Sales counterparts on new product development activities as related to supply chain planning.

  • Respond to demand and supply changes in a timely and accurate manner

  • Communicate delivery plans with customer service teams, and address gaps between demand and supply

Point of Contact for Global Supply counterparts and/or Vendors

  • Develop weekly net requirement plans

  • Support Make to Stock and Make to Order strategy

  • Conduct analysis and provide direction for inventory allocation where worldwide service is constrained

  • Review lack of in-transit supply and place additional orders or change method of shipments

Supply Chain Planning Activities

  • Develop and own product master data as related to planning activities

  • Establish appropriate safety stock levels

  • Balance inventory levels versus service

  • Prepare supply chain metrics and monitor SC performance

  • Identify areas for continuous improvement within the integrated supply chain

Your Profile:

  • You have a Master degree in Economics or a Bachelor’s Degree with some first experience in the field;

  • You have experience in demand, supply and inventory planning;

  • You have had exposure to regional planning and global initiatives (plus);

  • You possess strong facilitation, influencing and supporting skills;

  • You have excellent process development capabilities;

  • You have strong working knowledge of ERP platforms, such as JDE or SAP ECC;

  • You have strong working knowledge of an integrated Planning tool such as SAP SCM;

  • You are able to deal with ambiguity, are a continuous and versatile learner and are Self-motivated.
