Reporting to the Sales Manager you will be responsible to maintain and Develop sales within the given territory with a view of becoming the leading suppliers of Abdominal Wall Repair and Reconstruction (Hernia) solutions.

Role will be covering Greater Pretoria, Rustenburg and Limpopo

Other Key Responsibilities :-

  • To grow and develop new business thereby building up a solid customer base, to ensure the budgeted sales are achieved, by continuously developing and updating client strategies.

  • Keep up to date on the Clinical & product knowledge of products in our portfolio by reviewing the BDI Sales tools and information on a regular basis

  • To assist where and when required, in the promotion of BDI products through organised exhibitions and meetings to demonstrate the benefits of various products to clients.

  • To arrange that strategic HCP's attend promotional meetings and to facilitate the follow up of these HCP's to ensure optimal benefit is achieved from any given meeting.

  • Submission of planners and reports on a weekly basis to the direct line manager

  • Attain budgeted monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Full adoption of the BD Way of Selling and effective usage of our CRM tool – SDFC. This includes planning, targeting and implementing of our customer-centric strategies.

  • Should have a passion for the sales environment

About You :-

  • 3 year Degree or Diploma. Medical/Clinical degree is a plus

  • 2 to 4 years Sales Experience in Medical Devices or Capital Equipment or Fresh Graduates with Internship / learnership (0-1 year experience) from Medical / Clinical background

  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills

  • Confident in communicating and representing the product portfolio and themselves

  • SFDC experience will be advantageous

  • Open to travel : 20-25% excluding the day to day field role

  • Code 08 Driver License
