ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to a growing MedTech company!

This is a role where it is advantageous if you have a proven experience in accounting and have worked a few years in large companies. Beneficial if you have audit experience.

Finance department consist of 5 associates who are responsible for accounting and external reporting for Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. The Senior Accountant reports to Nordic Finance Manager.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Responsible for monthly-, quarterly,- and annual closing
  • Statutory Report preparation
  • Corporate Income Tax preparation
  • Balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Answer and support with VAT questions
  • Assist and support with tax related questions in collaborations with tax experts
  • Support shared service centers (SSC) in areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany, payroll, and more
  • Contribute to process -, and business improvement in areas of finance, tax, etc.
  • Be able to support and lead ad hoc analysis and initiatives

ABOUT YOU

IMPORTANT QUALITIES AND COMPETENCIES:

  • University degree in accounting/ finance
  • 4 years proven experience in accounting, advantageous with auditing background
  • Very good knowledge in Swedish GAAP and USGAAP is a big plus
  • Solid knowledge in Excel and MS Office
  • Fluent in a Swedish and English both written and oral
  • Eye for details and ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong communicator and ability to prioritize and plan
  • Experience from working on a Nordic level (Norway, Denmark, Finland, Sweden)
  • Solid knowledge of systems (SAP, BPC)
  • Relevant experience from working with shared service centers with operation abroad.

Who are you?

You are comfortable with the monthly closing process and can independently drive and establish annual closing and statutory report preparation. It is advantageous to have already acquired this experience in a large American company. You are used to complex IT environments, and a very experienced Excel user.
