About the role
As Facility Maintenance Engineer the flawless candidate will be responsible for maintenance, implementation of new projects and continuous improvement in the areas of mechanical and electric installation, utilities, plant IT hardware and energy management.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Implement maintenance processes ensuring that safety requirements, maintenance performances, timing and assets availability are met, by using rationale and efficient methods
- Interfaces optimally the involved partners (Manufacturing, Quality), the other Maintenance functions, and corporate IT
- Supervises planned maintenance scheduling, and execution
- Ensures that project/department landmarks/goals are met and adhering to approved budget
- Handles external maintenance vendors in the day-to-day performance of their jobs
- Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to build good working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
- Supports the implementation of continuous improvement principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending and implementing changes in training, working practices and processes
Main Processes:
- Ensure the operative fulfilment of the ordinary and outstanding maintenance interventions on mechanical and electric installation, utilities, IT hardware
- Ensure the definition of spare parts stock policies
- Guarantee the compliance of all the safety and quality rules and regulations of the third parties carrying out the maintenance activities
- Participate in process improvement projects, with focus on energy efficiency and sustainability programs
- Provide technical expertise to the team: contribute with Maintenance Manager to the development of maintenance resources, improving their motivation, empowerment and vital level of competences, in compliance with company policies
- Ensure an effective interface is maintained with other departmental staff, in their area of competence
- Guarantee the accurate management and the reliability of maintenance data-information inserted in relevant databases; ensure the data analysis toward a continuous improvement orientation
About you
- Batchelor degree, preferably in Mechanic, Electro technic, Energy or Nuclear engineering
- Master degree is an asset (see bachelor for engineering areas)
- 2+ years related work experience required
- Proven success in achieving results in technical assets management
- Strong project management attitude
- Good communication skills
- Focused target driven with a positive, can-do attitude
- Business professional English level
