We have a new and exciting opportunity for the position Clinical Education Specialist in our Surgery division. Reporting to the Clinical Education Manager, the successful candidate will promote and train on surgical products (Hernia Mesh, Skin Antiseptics & Biosurgery products). You will be experienced in clinical practice within the Surgery Space, ideally with experience in Breast and/or Colorectal Procedures.

Remote field-based opportunity covering Europe.

Job Description

In this exciting role the Clinical Education Specialist will join the Professional Education Team and take responsibility for the delivery of educational activities for both internal employees and healthcare professionals on the Surgical

portfolio.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Build good relationships with key users and influencers throughout the territory.
  • Develop a high level of understanding of our products and applications.
  • Operate and train on all products and capital equipment, clinicians and
  • nurses.
  • Introduce new products as required.

About you

The successful applicant shall have a strong clinical background with Surgery experience and will be a registered nurse, or hold previous experience in professional education roles in a medical device organisation. You will hold a Bachelor's degree and will have a minimum of 3 years of patient care experience within a hospital setting.

You will have previous experience of training clinical staff to deliver positive patient outcomes and have knowledge of patient and customer groups and/or issues relating to the programme area.

Previous experience in Breast and/or colorectal surgery will be a plus.

As an individual, you will be driven to exceed targets with the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team and demonstrate commerciality. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and will have flexible and adaptable approach. You will have good IT skills.

You will be happy to travel across Europe with overnight stays as required.
