Job Description Summary
As Field Service Operations Team Leader you will lead the service team and participate to deliver high quality, efficient & professional, on time and within budget services relating to;-• Pre & post-sales support
• Maintenance & Repair
• Inventory management
• Other Services
This is a field-based role with expected travel of 50%+

Job Description
Main responsibilities will include:
- Build and develop a robust team with the right mind set to support the business and customer needs ensuring appropriate staffing levels to support efficient workflow to meet demand
- Define team strategies with the CSL, aligned to GCS UK strategies and local business strategies and business drivers to deliver the service provision and support revenue growth, cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Build customer relationships to provide excellent customer service and focus on growth opportunities and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Work closely with the commercial team to drive business growth & success, participating in account management, contract, and tender discussions together with supporting the provision of pricing and supporting tender completion
- Find opportunities of improvements (Efficiency, productivity, etc) generating cost savings and execute them in a project mode for approval from CSL prior to execution
- Responsible for managing the day-to-day aspects of the Field Service Engineers, meeting the department’s goals and targets and maintaining and continuously improving the support provided to all internal and external customers.
About you
You have experience from the Medical Device industry and experience with and are passionate about developing your team. You have commercial acuity and a background in either Production, Quality Compliance, Supply Chain or Project Management or similar, and ready to take on a role where your Change Management skills are needed and appreciated. An Engineer background is not a must, but an advantage.
