Cash Allocation Team Leader
Job Description Summary
The primary objective of Team Leader role is to plan, lead, organize and control Cash allocation operations, a sub team of a financial cycle in the Shared Services Centre, in the General Accounting area.
The Team Leader will be in charge of planning and execution of accounting and financial activities with the team in order to maximize the effectiveness of services provided to Europe and EMA Countries.
The right candidate will be responsible for day to day operational management: manage, coordinate and delegate the execution of the financial services assigned to the sub team and of course people management: leading, coaching, evaluating, developing and hiring Team Members.
Some of your responsibilities as a Team Leader will also include:
- Internal Controls / Quality assurance: ensure that the prescribed related cycle internal & SOX controls are executed in order to guarantee completeness, correctness and security of key financial data and accounting transactions
- Process improvement
- SLA follow-up and metrics reporting
- Leading and participating in the projects appropriate for the current needs (e.g. system implementation)
- Building relationships with internal and external customers
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years practical experience in a multinational finance environment with at least 2 years in a similar role therefore proven ability to lead a team. As a team leader you would be expected to have a Knowledge of local GAAP and US GAAP / IFRS requirements and be a fluent English speaker (each additional European language is a plus). You should have completed a Degree Standard Education ideally in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent field.
