The E&C Specialist will review documentation for compliance with regulations, question, and ultimately approve the sponsorship proposed by the BD country sales organizations across EMEA for sponsoring customers. The Compliance Specialist will serve at the same time as a first point of control, and as a consultant for the sales organization.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Review requests for BD grants and sponsorship from EMEA region
  • Support the EMEA E&C Managers who support the region/ country organizations
  • Apply the BD policies and procedures into the daily work
  • Prepares/ Reviews/ Consolidates monthly, weekly, ad-hoc reports
  • Responsible for input and administration of E&C SharePoint.
  • Actively participate/lead in cross country conference calls
  • Review documentation for compliance with regulations, question, and ultimately approve the sponsorship proposed by the BD country sales organizations across EMEA for sponsoring customers. Support for other E&C initiatives in EMEA

  • Qualifications / Competencies/Requirements: 

  • University degree: advance degree a plus
  • Experience in working in a Shared Service Center/ Center Of Excellence or in large International business environment within a matrix organization
  • Fluent English skills (written and oral) are a must, additional Language skills especially Italian or Spanish will be an advantage
  • Solid IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office especially Excel and Power Point.)
  • Enthusiastic to develop, multitasked and willing to travel up to 20% (mainly within BD European location)
  • Can build strong relations and collaborations
  • Ability to listen well and communicate clearly and ethically
  • Proactive, Strong analytical, communication, documentation review skills and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to Teamwork and co-operation and sharing of information
  • Action‐orientation with an eye for detail
  • Well organized, excellent team‐player, proactive
