Role Profile:

Finance Analyst Leader (Business team) - BP&A will be located in BD Wrocław Shared Service Center and working as a part of the COE Business Planning and Analysis organization in a direct reporting line to the COE BP&A Manager. Finance Analyst Leader will be supervising a mid-size team of Financial Analysts.

Providing an end to end support to finance and business partners is one of the key priorities for the Team to ensure information flow and cost clarity by country & expense P&L reporting line during the fiscal year in order for BD to run highly profitable businesses in the European countries. The scope of current tasks performed by the BP&A business team are:

  • Variances analysis (Month End Close), including supporting commentary

  • Data mining and report generation (standard reporting, ad-hoc)

  • Producing and highlighting trends in data & performance analysis (sales)

  • Supporting Business Controller in the Finance organization, working closely with Finance Business Partner

  • Participation in project activities at different stages of implementation (reporting tools development & testing)

  • Ensuring standardization in processes performed (Forecasting, Month End Close, Budgeting, Strategic Planning) and working as a Team to continuously improve the service levels (KPI’s)

Key priorities for Finance Team Leader with regards to leading the team including:

  • Developing talents

  • Crafting a training plan and expertise within the team

  • Running regular one to one meetings, mid-year & year-end performance reviews,

  • Leading Team throughout various project initiatives & workshops

  • Collaboration and co-operation with BP&A EMEA organization ensuring alignment with key partner requirements both internal and external to finance community.

  • Taking a lead with prioritizing tasks to ensure team alignment with a business long-term strategy.

Key success factors and personality profile enabling to perform successfully in the role are:

  • Excellent communication skills with team player bias

  • Quick learning and proactive with an approach to work independently to resolve tasks,

  • Process improvement orientated with a focus on implementing standardization in processes

From the candidate, we expect Experience in working in a large international business environment within a matrix organization, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in leading a team. A strong understanding of budgeting and planning techniques (budgeting, forecasting) and Good knowledge of accounting (SAP, Business Warehouse) is a must. Experience in using and BI reporting (Power BI, SAP, BPC) tools would be an asset.

Apart from the above, we are looking for a person with:

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance or related field (preferably Accounting / Controlling),

  • Very good analytical skills & presentation skills,

  • Excellent English skills,

  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint),

  • Good understanding of project management methods and/or operational improvement,

  • Flexibility and adaptability in changing environments,
