The HR Data Operations Specialist (Workday) is a key player in the management of master data for BD in the Workday HCM system. Provides day-to-day operational and analytical support to our teams.
You will have the role and purpose to plan, organize, coordinate and lead the service delivery ensuring a positive customer experience and a partnership with the HR department and other partners
This position supports direct entry of data corrections and updates as requested and or uncovered during assigned audits. HR Data Ops Specialist position provides expertise and is a point of contact across multiple functions of BD and the applicable Center of Excellence (CoE).
This is a fixed term role for one year with possibility to explore other opportunities in the future!
Main responsibilities will include:
Being the expert for the HCM system used and for processes in the Scope of our HR ASC team
Identify and recommend methods to update, simplify and enhance processes, procedures, and technologies
Process tasks specified to Data Operations scope, i.e., Mass Uploads in a timely manner and in accordance to process design
Provide staff with technical support and guidance on core HR processes (respond to and resolve increasingly sophisticated issues)
Act in a consultative and project management role to support the definition and implementation of program delivery. Identify process and systems implications of, and solutions to, new or modified programs and policies
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to ensure services are optimally delivered
Identify and research issues/system defects (with minimal guidance). Analyze, problem-solve and formulate resolutions through application and standards
Responsible for ensuring timely and quality delivery to support client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Provide data and analyze appropriate metrics, data, and reports around compliance, performance, and data analytics (peer-level) to drive process improvements
Have knowledge of and apply Workday security configuration requirements, including the development of new security roles and business process definitions
Maintains Workday inbox tasks, responsible for assessing the assignments
About you:
We are looking for a person with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience working in a Shared Services environment supporting HRIS/Data Management and Data Operations with an HRIS system, preferably Workday, and good knowledge of end-to-end HR process. Strong Excel skills and proficient English is a must. We are also expecting from the candidate:
Experience in working under tight time frames, handling multiple tasks set up priorities
Good functional understanding of core HR business terminology, processes, and practices.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a problem-solving approach and very good attention to details
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to independently compose routine written communications
Willingness to represent the service center to the CoE and other partners
