Overall spend for Global Procurement is in excess $9B. This role is needed to improve Supplier and Purchasing master data quality to deliver various outcomes such as:
- Improve Cash-flow (DPO)
- Reduce Freight cost
- Improve compliance such as GDPR, EUMDR, PIIR
- Standardize E2E processes and improve operational efficiencies (reduce cycle time and cost)

Source to Pay (STP) is the end to end (E2E) process that supports the creation and implementation of sourcing strategies, the purchase of goods and services, the payment for those purchases and the measurement and management of our supply base. STP process closely integrates with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance. This requires robust process and modern system solutions, with a specific architectural approach allowing flexibility
and scalability, integrating commercial solutions that support evolving business, regulatory, supplier and internal customer requirements in an environment that includes organic growth and growth through acquisition.

About the role

Master Data Process Leader - Source to Pay plays a critical role in ensuring that STP Master data delivers real business value. This position drives Vendor Master and Purchasing master data process standardization and improvements.  This associate will be responsible for handling Vendor Master and Purchasing master data process which includes ensuring data integrity through governance and compliance while leading business demand. You will be responsible for building the roadmap and carrying out regional and global strategies by working closely with the stakeholders. This person will collaborate with internal and external partners to analyze, cleanse, enrich, and continuously refresh Master data.

Depending on the business need/demand, associate may be assigned different task/project.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Create and govern current state and future state data flows, with identification of dependencies and integration points across Businesses, Regions and Functions

  • Establish Data roadmap for Supplier, Suppliers attributes and related processes

  • Establish service roadmap for Supplier requests starting with defining an approach for handling current data challenges.

  • Develop and implement governance model for Vendor master

  • Collaborate with Aravo Vendor Master team and simplify and standardize supplier on-boarding process

  • Collect and maintain data ownership, and governance around business-critical data elements as it relates to Vendor master, Purchasing Info Record, Source List, Lead times, country of origin etc.

  • Develop operational data definitions and handle integrity and quality of data

  • Drive Aravo rollout (supplier on-boarding tool) for all sites within the region

  • Support GDPR, EUMDR and other initiatives

  • Partner with data owners and stewards to establish and progress towards defined targets for data management maturity and data quality index

  • Support quality and other regulatory teams to drive data compliance

  • Monitor key performance indicators, and drive improvements (SLA, data quality etc.)

  • Maintain documentation for both existing processes and operational guides

  • Streamline and automate reporting to support operational efficiencies

  • Build and publish business facing information that promotes data visibility

  • Support strategic initiatives, ERP rollouts and Acquisitions/Divestitures

  • Support benefits tracking, process performance relative to sustaining operations

  • Partner with cross functional stakeholders and implement best in class processes and CI initiatives

  • Communicate and present findings to the senior leadership and key stakeholders

About you

  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Master data management processes.

  • Strong experience in designing and maintaining data flows and how data supports various business processes in a Procurement/Manufacturing/Supply Chain environment

  • Experience with Supplier master data management process and tools

  • Solid understanding of data quality and data risk management, including understanding of standards, methods, processes, tools, and controls

  • Global experience working across multiple and diverse organizations/functions

  • Hands on experience in data migration/conversion methodology and tools

  • Advanced experience in Portfolio and Project Management principles and methodology

  • Experience with ERP and SaaS solutions (SAP/S4, JDE, Coupa, Aravo, Sievo) other data management tools

  • Lean Six sigma certification is preferred

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
