About the role
We are looking for an experienced Team Leader for Indirect Procurement Team to manage, motivate and develop purchasing team and process.
Procurement Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management to achieve the agreed goals by monitoring the workload and dividing various tasks accordingly.
Procurement Team Leader will closely cooperate with in EUSSC Leadership team, contribute to the execution of international and local projects, champion change and innovation to increase efficiency of operations.
Main responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching, motivating and developing the team of 10-12 Purchasing Specialists.
Recruitment and onboarding process of new associates, preparation and execution of training plan.
Cascading company goals to the employees and effectively delegating tasks based on their strengths, preferences and experience, providing right instructions and resources.
Monitoring progress in achieving goals, driving automations or improvements and supporting personal development of employees.
Understanding and applying quality and compliance requirements.
Represent team during audits, stakeholders’ visits, and business reviews.
Deliver presentations about team performance and achievements.
Providing associate with regular and constructive feedback, addressing immediately conflicts, underperformance or other unwanted behaviors.
Participating in and leading different projects in STP or Procurement area on a global, regional or local level.
Advanced English skills, other European language is a plus
Knowledge of MS office applications
Experience in a Shared Service environment is an advantage
Strong professional background involving problem solving and dealing with suppliers / customers.
Knowledge and understanding of Source To Pay process, ERP systems knowledge is an advantage (SAP preferred)
At least 1 year experience in leading / coordinating people and/or projects
A hands-on and solution-oriented mentality that results in a pro-active approach
Ability to deal with and manage change.
Good organization skills with an eye for detail
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
